When using the services offered on SIA FLOATY website, your data is processed in accordance with the purposes specified below and stored until one of the specified criteria applies. SIAFLOATY undertakes to process only such personal data that is necessary for the fulfillment of contractual obligations, conducting business activities, fulfilling regulatory requirements and, in some cases, ensuring legitimate interests. Purposes of personal data processing
When processing personal data, SIAFLOATY complies with the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), as well as other regulatory acts in the field of privacy and personal data processing.
This data protection policy explains how SIAFLOATY processes personal data and how it ensures the implementation of data subject rights regarding personal data protection. SIAFLOATY data protection policy applies to all types of personal data processing carried out by SIAFLOATY.
SIAFLOATY processes personal data directly received from the data subject (i.e., the person who submitted personal data) or indirectly (from corporate clients). Indirectly received personal data is processed only if SIAFLOATY needs to process personal data to provide services within the framework of contractual obligations, for example, contacting a corporate client, etc.
Purposes of SIA FLOATY personal data processing:
- For providing services within contractual obligations (including creating an account on Floaty.lv website for purchasing, which ensures sending invoices, communication, delivery of goods, and other data processing necessary for purchasing goods);
- For processing information submitted by the data subject to subscribe to Floaty.lv email messages and news (You can unsubscribe from such messages at any time by using the automatic unsubscribe option offered in the email, changing settings in your profile, deleting saved cookies, calling our information phone, or sending a request to stop communication to info@floaty.lv).
- For processing information regarding your questions by filling out the contact section of our website, directly contacting our staff by phone or electronically, SIA FLOATY processes your voluntarily provided personal data - name, surname, phone number, and email address, as well as other provided information. Your personal data will only be used to contact you and answer your questions, comments, or suggestions.
- For processing transaction data in accordance with the Law "On Accounting";
- For ensuring information, information systems and company security;
- For personnel selection and management;
- For improving customer service quality;
- For providing information to state administration institutions and operational activity subjects in cases and to the extent specified in external regulatory acts.
Reminder about uncompleted purchase
Please be informed that we will send a technical support email within 72 hours from the moment you have not completed your purchase in our online store. This is necessary to ensure that you have not encountered technical problems during the purchase and to cancel the reservation of the goods.
Personal data storage period
SIAFLOATY stores and processes personal data as long as at least one of these criteria exists:
- until full fulfillment of contractual obligations (including conversations where an oral agreement is concluded and/or a service application is made);
- until consent is revoked, but no longer than 1 year from the date of receipt of consent;
- until the data storage and processing period specified in external regulatory acts or until the period during which the data subject can realize their legitimate interests and rights (e.g., submit objections and/or file a claim in court);
- as long as there is a legal obligation to store the data (e.g., in accordance with the Law "On Accounting", Labor Law, Consumer Rights Protection Law, etc.);
- as long as the data subject's consent for the relevant personal data processing is valid, if there is no other lawful basis for data processing.
After none of the circumstances specified in this point exist, the data subject's personal data is deleted.

- Transfer of personal data

Data subject rights apply to any natural person whose personal data is processed by SIA FLOATY and applies to personal data processing regardless of the form in which you or any other natural person has provided personal data: on the Floaty.lv website, in the provided information systems, in paper format or by phone.
