In cases where SIA FLOATY processes your personal data, you have the right to ask questions related to the processing of your personal data by sending a request to the contact details provided or by contacting SIA FLOATY in person.
When you receive the services offered on the SIA FLOATY website, your data will be processed in accordance with the purposes set out below and stored until one of the specified criteria exists. SIAFLOATY undertakes to process only such personal data as are necessary for the performance of contractual obligations, the conduct of business, the requirements of laws and regulations and, in certain cases, legitimate interests. Purposes of personal data processing
Processing of personal data by SIAFLOATY comply with the laws and regulations in force in the Republic of Latvia, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), as well as other laws and regulations in the area of privacy and personal data processing.
This data protection policy explains how SIAFLOATY process personal data and how it ensures the exercise of the data subject's rights in relation to matters relating to the protection of personal data. SIAFLOATY the data protection policy applies to all processing of personal data carried out by SIAFLOATY.
SIAFLOATY process personal data received directly from the data subject (i.e. the person who provided the personal data) or indirectly (through corporate customers). Personal data received indirectly is processed only if SIAFLOATY process personal data to provide a service under a contractual obligation, such as contacting a corporate client, etc.
SIA FLOATY purposes for processing personal data:
- Provision of services within the framework of contractual obligations (establishment of an t.sk. account on the Floaty.lv website for the purchase of a purchase, which ensures sending of an invoice, communication, delivery of goods, etc.c. processing of data necessary for the purchase of goods);
- Processing of information provided by the data subject to subscribe to Floaty.lv emails and newsletters (you may opt-out of receiving such messages at any time by using the automatic opt-out option offered in the email, changing the settings in your profile, deleting saved cookies, calling our hotline, or sending a request to stop communication to [email protected]).
- In order to process information about the questions you have asked, by filling in the contact section of our website, by contacting our staff directly by telephone or electronically, SIA FLOATY processes the personal data you have voluntarily provided - name, surname, telephone number and e-mail address, as well as other information you have provided. Your personal data will only be used to contact you and respond to your questions, comments or suggestions.
- Processing of transaction data in accordance with the law On Accounting;
- To ensure the security of information, information systems and the company;
- Recruitment and management;
- Improving the quality of customer service;
- Provision of information to State administration institutions and bodies performing operational activities in the cases and to the extent specified in external regulatory enactments.
Reminder for pending purchase
Please be informed that we will send out a technical support e-mail within 72 hours from the moment you have not finished making a purchase in our online store. This is to make sure that you have not been affected by technical problems at the time of purchase and to withdraw the product reservation.
Period of storage of personal data
SIAFLOATY retain and process personal data for as long as at least one of the following criteria applies:
- until full performance of the contract (t.sk, negotiation in which an oral contract is concluded and/or a service application is made);
- until the withdrawal of consent, but not longer than 1 year from the date of receipt of the consent;
- until the time period specified in external regulatory enactments for the time period for storage and processing of data or until the time period within which the data subject may exercise his or her legitimate interests and rights (for example, to lodge an objection and/or bring an action in court);
- as long as there is a legal obligation to store the data (for example, in accordance with the Law On Accounting, the Labour Law, the Consumer Rights Protection Law, .c);
- as long as the data subject's consent to the relevant processing of personal data is in force, unless there is another legal basis for the processing of data.
After none of the circumstances referred to in this paragraph exists, the personal data of the data subject shall be deleted.

- Transfer of personal data
In order to fulfil our obligations towards you, we may transfer your personal data to our business partners, data processors who carry out the necessary data processing for the performance of contractual obligations (including courier services, IT infrastructure developer/maintainer, etc.These companies are required by law and our cooperation agreement to protect your personal data and to process it only in accordance with the purposes we specify.
Personal data is not transferred to third countries (i.e. countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area).
Children
SIA FLOATY does not provide services to minors. In the event that FLOATY Ltd. becomes aware that it has acquired and processed personal data of minors, appropriate action will be taken to delete such personal data.
Data subject's rights
Data subject's rights apply to any natural person whose personal data is processed by FLOATY SIA and are applicable to the processing of personal data regardless of the form in which you or any other natural person has provided personal data: on the Floaty.lv website, in the information systems provided, in paper format or by telephone. The data subject has the following rights:

- the right of access to that data. If we process your data, we are obliged to provide free of charge information about the processing of your data. Before providing personal data, we are obliged to verify your identity, thus ensuring that information about your data is not transferred to third parties.
- If the information held by FLOATY Ltd is incomplete or incorrect, you have the right to request that any discrepancies in your personal data be corrected.
- the right to object to the processing of personal data by SIA FLOATY where there is no longer any obligation to retain them;
- the right to request the deletion of your data if FLOATY Ltd. continues to store them after the expiry of the storage period, as well as to restrict data processing and/or obtain copies of the information held by FLOATY Ltd. in electronic format in certain situations.

FLOATY Ltd protects data subject's data using state-of-the-art technology, taking into account existing privacy risks and the organisational, financial and technical resources reasonably available to FLOATY Ltd, such as data encryption, firewalls, intrusion protection and other protective measures.
In the event of a personal data security incident that poses a potentially high risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subject, FLOATY LLC will notify the data subject concerned, if possible, or the information will be made publicly available on FLOATY LLC's website or in any other feasible manner.
